In this simply trick, I'm going to reveal how to improve Opera mini performance.
What is your browser version ? No matter what's it. This works on both Opera mini 4 and Opera mini 5!
Opera Mini 4 - Performance trick
Open Opera Mini and go to
Scroll down to the bottom, and choose Socket as Protocol
That's all!
Opera Mini 5 - Performance trick
Open the new, handy Opera Mini 5, and press Menu.
Then, scroll down to settings and go there.
Navigate to "Advanced" and hit. Hit the "Protocol" item.
Select "Socket"
High Performance Turned On!
How this works ?
When running in HTTP protocol, Opera mini has to connect to the server each time you request a page. This drives browser to a low performance.
When using Socket Protocol, Opera Mini keeps the connection alive with the server. It's true that this method consumes a bit more data transfer than HTTP, but Socket method is the best option if you value your time.

A matter of data
A matter of data transfer:
not as HTTP, Socket protocol really consumes a lot of data transfer. So it's better if you stick with HTTP if your ISP cost more from you. Also, try to compare both 2 protocols. HTTP is better for low-end phones .
