You can adjust windows registry to restrict applications from being running...
This method is very useful to disable viruses and disable your locking application from rookies and from those who do not read Texby...;-)

you must be an administrator of your computer and registry editor and Run dialog must be active.

  1. Open Run
  2. Type “regedit “

Registry editor will open.
In the left panel, follow the path below..
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\disabledrun

Tthen, create a new String value by right clicking the Right Panel, and name it as the name of application that you need to disable running...
Then, Double Click it and enter the path of application .exe file.
Ex: "c:\program files\macromedia\flash mx professional\flash8.exe"

This will restrict Flash8.exe in program files. From being executing...

So you can disable your file protector from unauthorized access, disable viruses (like Crazya.exe ,called as Mahasona. path is C:\documents and settings\all users\local settings\crazya.exe)

to undo changes, delete the String Value Created...

Happy Restricting...!
